Special Eye Screening Camp for Government School Students in Nagar Kurnool

A special eye screening camp has been launched at the Government General Hospital in Nagar Kurnool to help students with vision problems. This initiative follows the Telangana State Government’s directives and was inaugurated by the hospital’s Superintendent, Dr. R. Raghu. The camp aims to provide proper eye care for government school students who have vision impairments.

Dr. Raghu shared that under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) last year, a total of 50,780 students from government schools and colleges across the district underwent eye screenings. Out of these, 1,893 students were found to have vision issues. To support them, special eye screening camps will be held at government hospitals in Nagar Kurnool and Achampet constituencies from Monday until March 5.
