Hyderabad’s Minister of Municipal Administration, K Tarakrama Rao (KTR), has urged officials to prepare for the rainy season. He reviewed Hyderabad city and talked about measures to take for heavy rains and floods. The Minister asked about the Strategic Naala Development Program (SNDP) in GHMC, and officials said most of it has been done, reducing the risk of flooding in many places. KTR told them to keep checking water levels in ponds and prepare dewatering pumps for low-lying areas. He said officials must be ready for the rainy season, prevent waterlogging, and keep traffic flowing smoothly.
