Hyderabad: The Justice Ghose Commission has agreed to delay K Chandrashekhar Rao's appearance regarding the Kaleshwaram project. The former Chief Minister will now meet with the commission on June 11, instead of June 5.
Sources indicate that KCR is consulting with irrigation and legal experts to prepare for the commission’s questions. He expects insights from Harish Rao, who will testify on June 9, to assist in his preparation. These insights will help KCR address the commission’s inquiries effectively.
Former Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has confirmed his readiness to appear before the commission on the scheduled date set by Justice PC Ghose. BJP MP Eatala Rajender, previously a finance minister, will appear on June 6 as arranged.
BRS leaders emphasize KCR’s willingness to provide clear answers to all questions during his appearance. The commission, which received its seventh extension recently, aims to finish the investigation and submit a report by July 31. So far, it has gathered affidavits and interviewed about 200 individuals, including senior officials from the irrigation department and key IAS officers from the previous BRS government, who were vital in constructing the Kaleshwaram project.
