GMR Aero Academy (GMRAA), the training and education arm of GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd. (GIL), has announced a partnership with Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. This partnership will introduce aviation-specialized programs for students with Bachelor’s Degrees. The goal is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry and equip them with the skills needed for various roles in aviation.
During the Wings India 2024 event in Hyderabad, GMRAA and Andhra Loyola College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize the partnership. Ashok Gopinath, President and Accountable Manager of GMR Aero Technic, expressed his excitement about the collaboration. He emphasized the importance of this partnership in meeting the demand for skilled manpower in the aviation industry.
Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada is managed by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), a Catholic religious order established in 1954. The college offers intermediate, graduate, and postgraduate courses, aiming to provide intellectually-inspired learning to its students.
