Government announces significant reshuffle of bureaucrats

The State Government has made some big changes and moved around many senior IAS officers. Arvind Kumar, who used to be in charge of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, has been moved to the Disaster Management department.

M Dana Kishore, who is currently the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), has been transferred to the Municipal Administration department.

B Venkatesham, who is currently Secretary and Commissioner of the BC Welfare Department, has been made Principal Secretary of the Education department.

Vakati Karuna, who was Secretary of Education, has been moved to Secretary and Commissioner of Women, Child, Disabled and Senior Citizens department. Rahul Bojja, who used to be the Secretary to the former chief minister, has been made Secretary of the General Administration department.

KS Srinivas Raju, who was Secretary of the R&B department, will now be Secretary of Transport, Roads and Buildings. A Vani Prasad, who was Principal Secretary, will now be in charge of the Environment, Forest, Science and Technology department.

TK Sridevi, who was Finance Secretary, has been made Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. Christina Z Chongthu, who used to have that position, will now be the Secretary of Medical and Health and Family Welfare.

C Sudarshan Reddy, who was MAUD secretary, will now be the Managing Director of HMWS&SB. RV Karnan, who was the Nalgonda district collector, has been made Director of Health and Family Welfare.
