Government considering establishment of skill universities

The State government of Hyderabad plans to establish Skill Universities in nine old district headquarters, including Kodangal Assembly Constituency. These universities will provide short term and long term courses to create skilled manpower for industrial needs. The government will form a Special Committee with the Secretaries of the Education Department, Industries, and Labour Department to prepare proposals for the establishment of these universities.

Additionally, the Chief Minister has instructed officials to reopen all closed schools, regardless of the number of enrolled students. Furthermore, a mega DSC (District Selection Committee) will be conducted for teacher recruitment to ensure the smooth functioning of government schools in villages.

CM Revanth has also addressed the issues surrounding promotions and transfers of government teachers. He advised officials to meet with Teachers Unions representatives to find alternative solutions to these problems.

Lastly, the Chief Minister has instructed authorities to explore options for changing the category of electricity bills for educational institutions. This will involve finding alternative methods for collecting bills under business and industrial categories for schools.
