Nizamabad: Armoor MLA Rakesh Reddy visited several areas of the Municipality on Saturday. He was joined by District Collector Ankit and Municipal Commissioner Raju. Together, they spoke with local people to learn more about the problems they are facing.
During the visit, officials gave orders to clearly mark the government land in Mamidipalli and turn it into a park for public use. They also told municipal staff to ensure that sewage water does not flow onto the roads.
The team said that the recently given funds should be spent in the areas that have the most issues. Collector Ankit reminded residents that they are responsible for protecting 10% of the land left open in their colonies. He also warned that strict action would be taken if any officials are found to be careless in their duties.
