In Hyderabad, CM A Revanth Reddy marked the State government’s 100 days in office by fulfilling a promise made to Gulf workers. The government released Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to the families of two Gulf workers from Rajanna Sircilla district who died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.

One of the workers, Boddu Babu from Bausaipet, Konaraopet mandal, died three months ago in Byron while working in the Gulf. His family faced financial struggles after losing their breadwinner.

Another worker, 28-year-old Sasikumar from Marripelli village of Vemulawada rural mandal, also died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. His wife and children are in need of assistance.
