Nalgonda District Collector AV Karnanhas has instructed officials to improve facilities at the District Government Hospital. During a thorough inspection of the hospital, the Collector interacted with patients to understand their medical needs. He asked about their length of stay and the doctors attending to them, and instructed the superintendent to ensure they receive the best possible treatment. The Collector also suggested creating a comprehensive list of palliative care patients categorized by area and primary health centers for better care.

Recognizing the importance of area hospitals in providing essential healthcare, Collector Karnan urged the hospital superintendent, Dr Lachu Naik, and other officials including Dr Kondal Rao, Dr Matru, and Dr Venu Gopal Reddy to focus on strengthening healthcare centers by providing basic facilities.
