Nearly 100 retired officials in Telangana, including State Engineer-in-Chief C Muralidhar, will be removed from their reappointed positions. The government has taken notice of the reappointment of retired officials in departments such as Irrigation, Health, and Education. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has issued a circular to all departments to identify these officials who have been working for the government on an honorarium basis. The Chief Secretary has requested the Secretaries to provide details of these reappointments, regardless of the source of payment, and they will be removed from their positions within a week or 10 days.
