The fourth convocation of Palamuru University in Mahbubnagar was celebrated with grandeur on Thursday. State Governor Jishnudev Varma attended the event in his capacity as Chancellor. Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy warmly welcomed the Governor with a bouquet.
During the ceremony, the Governor awarded Ph.D. degrees to 12 scholars and presented gold medals to 83 recipients. Notably, prominent industrialist Manne Satyanarayana Reddy received the university’s first honorary doctorate from the Governor. MLA Srinivas Reddy extended his congratulations to the Ph.D. scholars, gold medalists, and the honorary doctorate recipient, Manne Satyanarayana Reddy.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including AP Jitender Reddy, the government’s special representative in New Delhi and advisor on sports affairs, District Collector Vijayendra Bhoi, Palamuru University Vice-Chancellor G.N. Srinivas, and Registrar Ramesh.
