    The Telangana Gulf Workers’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for fulfilling his promise of providing Rs.5 lakh compensation to the families of Gulf victims. This promise was made by the Congress party during the recent Assembly elections.

    A delegation led by Balkonda former MLA Eravatri Anil, TPCC NRI cell chairman Dr BM Vinod Kumar, and others met with the Chief Minister to express their gratitude. They appreciated the quick implementation of the compensation promise within 100 days of the Congress government coming to power in Telangana. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was praised for his humane treatment of Gulf workers.

    TPCC NRI cell chairman Dr BM Vinod Kumar mentioned that the Congress government is dedicated to forming a comprehensive NRI policy and Gulf Welfare Board for migrant workers. The Gulf JAC members commended the government for taking steps to support the families of Gulf victims and showing care towards the Gulf workers.
