Telangana Haj Committee Holds Training for Pilgrims
The Telangana Haj Committee conducted its third orientation training camp for pilgrims preparing for this year’s Haj. The camp was held at SNR Convention, located near Pillar No. 122 on the Attapur Ring Road in Rajendra Nagar.
Religious scholars provided guidance on the rituals to be performed during the pilgrimage and the visit to Madina. Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman, Syed Gulam Afzal Biyabani, extended his congratulations to the selected pilgrims, expressing his happiness for their opportunity to undertake this holy journey.
Haj Committee official, Irfan Shareef, briefed attendees on the essential logistical arrangements and preparations for the trip. He emphasized the importance of following the required procedures for a smooth journey.
The selected applicants must deposit the required amount by January 25. After making the payment, they are instructed to submit the necessary documents to the Haj Committee. So far, 2,288 applications from the waiting list have been approved, with the remaining 254 expected to be cleared by the end of February.
The next orientation session, the fourth training camp, is scheduled for January 19. It will be held at Alamgir Masjid in Guttala Begumpet, Madhapur, from 10 am to 3 pm. Pilgrims are encouraged to attend to ensure they are well-prepared for the pilgrimage.
