The Finance Minister T Harish Rao led a garbage collection drive in Siddipet Municipality’s 18th ward. He had previously encouraged municipal councillors and officials to do the same in their respective areas. On Monday morning, Rao personally collected garbage and cleared clogged drains. He also spoke with residents about the importance of segregating waste and keeping their surroundings clean and hygienic.

During the drive, the Minister emphasized the need for residents to prevent water stagnation to avoid mosquito breeding. He stressed that it is the responsibility of every citizen to keep the town clean and urged them not to litter in open spaces but instead use garbage bins. The ultimate goal is to make Siddipet a garbage-free town with the continuous efforts and participation of its citizens.
