    The National Institute of Fashion Technology in Hyderabad is hosting a three-day event called ‘Hastakala Utsav-2024 from March 14-16. The event includes a craft bazaar, artisan awareness workshop, and celebration of Indian crafts and culture.

    The goal of the event is to connect artisans with the market and give students and attendees a chance to learn about Indian heritage. The Craft Bazaar-2024 will feature weavers and artisans showcasing their crafts from 11 am to 7 pm each day.

    The workshop aims to help artisans better understand urban markets, while students can learn directly from craftsmen. Around 45 artisans from different parts of India, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, will have stalls at the event.

    On March 15, there will be a cultural event at 5.30 pm featuring a fashion show by NIFT-Hyderabad students. Faculty members will also participate in showcasing handloom textiles. The evening will include traditional dances, drama performances, and a musical finale.
