The Telangana High Court has put a temporary stop to further proceedings related to a recent order about the Sri Bhagya Lakshmi temple near Charminar. This decision was made by Justice Alishetty Lakshmi Narayana on Friday.

The case started when Babita Sharma filed a petition in 2012, asking to be recognized as a member of the temple founder’s family. Senior lawyer Ashok Anand Kumar, representing petitioners Shashikala and four others, requested the court to put a stay on the order given by the Telangana Endowments Tribunal on February 21.

Meanwhile, the government lawyer representing the respondents asked for more time to gather information. The next hearing for the case is scheduled for March 21.
