    Telangana to Introduce Health Tourism Policy

    Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has announced that the government will soon introduce a Health Tourism policy. This initiative aims to promote Telangana as a major healthcare hub, not only for the people of the state but also for patients from other countries.

    The Chief Minister made this statement while honoring Dr. Nageshwar Reddy, who recently received the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award. He praised Dr. Reddy as a distinguished doctor from the Telugu community and said that he is even deserving of India’s highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna.

    CM Revanth Reddy also spoke about the importance of family doctors in the past, who used to monitor the health of entire families. He emphasized the need to revive this system, as it provided great support to families in maintaining their health.

    Additionally, the government is working on distributing health cards by collecting people’s health profiles. Plans are also in place to develop a health campus near the airport on 1,000 acres. The Chief Minister sought Dr. Nageshwar Reddy’s support in turning Telangana into a global health hub.
