Heartwarming tale shared by Dalit Bandhu beneficiary in Suryapet

IT Minister KT Rama Rao visited Suryapet and distributed Dalit Bandhu Cheques to beneficiaries. One of the beneficiaries, Ratnamma, expressed her joy at receiving the cheque. She shared her hardships, saying that she and her husband had been sewing shoes for a living for the past 30 years. She mentioned the lack of support from previous governments and the struggles they faced due to limited access to electricity and water. Ratnamma also talked about participating in protests for clean drinking water. Despite reaching out to Congress and other leaders, she felt disappointed and prayed for a way out of their difficult circumstances. She proudly mentioned that she managed to educate her four children despite the challenges. Her husband discouraged involving their children in shoe sewing, believing that the Congress government wouldn’t help them. With tears of happiness, she concluded by saying that her father is KCR, who changed her destiny.
