Warangal, Hanumakonda, and Kazipet are facing severe flooding after receiving around 200mm of rain overnight starting late Monday. The heavy rain has caused major waterlogging issues, particularly at the Hanumakonda bus stand and in low-lying areas.

People in Kazipet, Hassanparthi, Reddypuram, Gokul Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, and New Shayampet are struggling with stagnant floodwaters. Authorities have advised residents in risky areas to move to safer places.

Flooding is widespread in Warangal city, affecting roads like Battala Bazaar and Old Beat Bazaar. Areas on Hunter Road, NTR Nagar, Ramannapet, Shivanagar, Karimabad, and Sakarashi Kunta are also heavily impacted.

The Warangal Railway Station is experiencing significant waterlogging, with floodwaters entering homes in DK Nagar near Ursugutta. Officials have started evacuating slum dwellers to safe rehabilitation centers to protect them from the rising waters.
