    A demonstration of oilseed crops was held in Vasanthapur village, Bijinapally Mandal, under the guidance of Palem Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). The event aimed to educate farmers on improving oilseed crop production.

    Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, the KVK Program Coordinator, attended the event and encouraged farmers to support the development of oilseed crops. He mentioned that a special project is being implemented to promote high-yielding varieties of oilseeds.

    As part of this project, a 125-acre sesame crop demonstration field has been set up. This field will help farmers learn about important productivity factors, efficient resource use, and modern management techniques.

    Dr. K. Ramakrishna, an agricultural scientist, spoke at the event. He explained high-yielding sesame varieties and shared important tips on weed control and pest management to help farmers increase their yield.

    Other scientists, including Dr. B. Rajasekhar and Dr. Adi Shankar, also participated in the event. Around 125 farmers attended and gained valuable knowledge about modern farming techniques.
