A large and rare fish was discovered near Bhoompuram village in Aija Mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district. A farmer named Boya Hanumanthu caught the fish, which was six feet long and weighed about 10 kilograms. The fish, identified as a Korra Meenu, was found in the Nettampadu canal. Water retention in the canal had created a suitable environment for the fish.

Interestingly, this remarkable catch happened on National Farmers’ Day. The timing made the event even more special for Hanumanthu and his family. They celebrated the day with great excitement, turning it into a festive occasion in their household.
