The Human Rights Forum (HRF) in Hyderabad is accusing jail staff at Cherlapally central jail of torturing inmates. They are demanding that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy order an investigation into the incident that occurred on Friday. The HRF claims that some inmates were brutally beaten by jail staff, and they were unable to get information from prison authorities.

The HRF believes that the alleged incident, where four inmates were beaten with lathis after the CC cameras were turned off, is very serious. They are calling on the Telangana Home Department to clarify what happened and reveal the facts. Despite their efforts to learn more about the situation, the HRF was unable to speak with prison authorities.
