A tragic incident took place in Kukatpally on Tuesday, where a husband killed his wife over suspicions of an affair.
The victim, 28-year-old Sameena Begum, was allegedly murdered by her husband, Abdul Raheem, who is 36 years old. He suspected that Sameena was having an illegal affair with another man.
The couple lived with their children in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. On the day of the incident, they got into an argument. In a fit of rage, Abdul Raheem picked up a stone and repeatedly hit Sameena on the head, leading to her death.
After receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene. They sent Sameena’s body for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered against Abdul Raheem, and an investigation is currently underway.
