Hyderabad: Police arrested three men for illegally carrying 24 kilograms of ganja in the Talabkatta area of Bhavani Nagar.
The Central Crime Station (CCS), part of the Hyderabad Special Zonal Crime Team, caught the suspects during a planned operation. The arrested individuals are Mohd Omer (21), Mohd Ghouse Hussain (47), and Mohd Sohail (20). All three live in the same neighborhood in Bhavani Nagar.
After questioning the suspects, officers handed them and the seized ganja over to the Bhavani Nagar Police for further investigation.
Authorities filed a case under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act, which deals with illegal drug possession and trafficking.
Two more people linked to the case — Sona Jaweed and Faisal — are currently on the run. Police are working to locate and arrest them soon.
