    Hyderabad: A special three-member Officers Committee began talks on Wednesday with various Employee Associations to address long-standing concerns about employee welfare.

    The meeting took place at the Secretariat and included key representatives from the Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC). Among those present were TGEJAC Chairman M Jagadeeshwar and Secretary General A Srinivas Rao, along with other JAC members.

    During the discussion, the JAC leaders presented a list of 57 demands related to salaries, working conditions, and other employment issues. They urged the committee to take swift action and resolve the problems that have been pending for a long time.

    The Officers Committee, which oversees these matters, is led by Navin Mittal, the Principal Secretary of Revenue. Other members include DS Lokesh Kumar, Secretary of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, and D Krishna Bhaskar, Special Secretary and CMD of TGTRANSCO.

    The committee listened carefully to the concerns and assured the JAC leaders that they would share the details with the relevant ministers. They also promised to work on finding quick and effective solutions to the issues raised.

    This meeting marks an important step in improving communication between the government and its employees, with the goal of better workplace policies and improved welfare programs.
