The TGSRTC–Hyderabad Metro Common Pass has come into effect, allowing commuters to use one pass for travel on RTC buses and Hyderabad Metro trains.
The pass is intended to make daily public transport journeys easier by reducing the need to manage separate tickets or passes for bus and Metro travel. The initiative is being introduced by the Telangana government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
A daily Common Pass costs ₹400. This includes ₹300 for Metro travel and ₹100 for RTC bus travel.
A monthly Common Pass costs ₹8,500, comprising ₹7,000 for Metro travel and ₹1,500 for RTC services.
Commuters can buy the passes at major bus terminals and Metro stations. Digital ticketing options are also available through official platforms.
The common pass covers travel across two public transport services used by commuters in Hyderabad. Passengers can use it for eligible journeys on both the RTC bus network and the Metro rail service.
The daily pass is priced at ₹400, while the monthly pass is priced at ₹8,500, with separate allocations for Metro and RTC travel.
