Suryapet is facing an issue with TRS leader Vatte Janaiah Yadav, as more and more people are complaining about his harassment and illegal activities. This problem is not just limited to this district, as his victims are spread across the entire state. So far, over 80 victims have filed complaints at different police stations.
A couple from Kukatpalli in Hyderabad recently came forward with allegations against Janaiah. They claimed that he kidnapped them and extorted Rs 30 lakh from them. The couple filed a complaint against Janaiah, his son Ganesh, and his follower Venkat Reddy.
According to the complaint filed by Mamata and her husband Chakraborty, they were kidnapped and held at Vajra Rice Industry near Suryapet, where they were treated indecently. They stated that this incident had nothing to do with them and they were subjected to torture. Fearing their threats, they ended up paying Rs 30 lakh in installments. They handed over evidence related to their case to the police, including videos of Janaiah’s followers terrorizing them and kidnapping them from Balaji’s residence, where they were staying. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
