A massive fire broke out at a scrap godown in Attapur, Hyderabad, on Monday, causing panic in the area. Thick smoke filled the air, alarming the nearby residents. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
The fire started at a godown located in the M M Pahadi area, near pillar number 316 of the P V Narsimha Rao Flyover. Fire officials were quickly informed, and two fire trucks from the Rajendranagar fire station arrived at the scene to control the blaze.
The Attapur police were also present at the site, helping the fire department in their efforts to extinguish the fire. Officials suspect the fire may have been caused by an electric short circuit, but an investigation is still ongoing.
