At the same time, the police are on high alert. Authorities are concerned about potential illegal activities, including drug use, at New Year parties. This year, several events are being organized away from the city’s usual noise and crowds, in quieter areas like farmhouses and resorts.

Farmhouses and resorts in Moinabad, Shankarpally, Medchal, Ghatkesar, Bhongir, and Shamshabad are fully booked. These venues are preparing for grand parties where alcohol will flow freely. Many partygoers, including influential individuals, are expected to attend. According to organizers, costs for such parties vary based on the number of guests and the duration of the event, with some fees exceeding ₹1 lakh per night.

To ensure safety, police in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda have issued strict guidelines. Minors are not allowed in pubs, bars, or events meant for couples. Drug use is strictly prohibited, and organizers have been instructed to monitor parking areas and other spots to prevent illegal activities. Organizers must also obtain prior permissions for their events. Police urged citizens to celebrate responsibly with family and friends, avoiding drugs and ensuring a peaceful New Year.
