Hyderabad Man Commits Suicide Under Wife and In-Laws’ Pressure

A man in Hyderabad, Molugu Venkata Reddy, has committed suicide due to the harassment from his wife and her parents. Reddy, who is a private employee, lived with his wife Kalyani, their two daughters, and his mother. The couple had been having a dispute about separating, and two months ago, Kalyani went to her hometown in Warangal. On July 2, she returned with her parents and they got into a fight. Kalyani demanded that Reddy’s mother leave the house and that the property be written in the name of their children. Reddy felt pressured and warned his wife that he would take drastic measures if she didn’t listen to him. He was later taken to the hospital where he passed away. The police are investigating the case based on a complaint from Reddy’s sister.
