Hyderabad has updated its Metro Rail schedule. Starting November 3, the first train will leave at 6:00 am, and the last one will depart at 11:00 pm every day. This change remains until further notice.
Earlier, the metro’s weekday service was from 6:00 am to 11:45 pm. On weekends, the last train was at 11:00 pm, with Saturday services starting at 6:00 am and Sunday at 7:00 am.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on September 25 that they are stepping away from the Hyderabad Metro project. The Telangana government will now manage the existing phase one. They will assume responsibility for the project’s Rs 13,000 crore debt and will pay L&T around Rs 2,000 crore for their equity, settling the matter in a one-time agreement.
