    Hyderabad Commissioner of Police K. Srinivas Reddy instructed police personnel for the Cantonment Assembly by-election and Lok Sabha elections to be alert and prevent any incidents. The CP held a meeting with various officials at Sivakumarlal Stadium and CAR headquarters.

    During the meeting, the CP emphasized curbing illegal activities like liquor distribution and cash handouts. He also stressed the need to inspect kalyana mandapams and lodges thoroughly. Officials were told to address complaints from polling staff promptly and manage queues efficiently.

    To ensure all voters can cast their ballots, the CP said those in line after 6 pm should be allowed to vote with permission. Mobile phones are not allowed inside polling stations. The directive aims to maintain peace during the upcoming elections in Hyderabad.
