    Hyderabad Police Investigate Afzalgunj Shooting and Bidar ATM Robbery

    The Hyderabad police are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Afzalgunj on Thursday night. Shortly after the incident, officers began analyzing footage from nearby security cameras to track down the suspects. Additionally, they inspected hotels and lodges in the area to identify any visitors from other states who may have entered without proper documentation.

    Special teams have been formed to capture two robbers involved in a major ATM robbery in Bidar, Karnataka. The gang reportedly killed two security guards during the robbery and made off with Rs 93 lakh. Later, the same group allegedly shot a travel agency manager in Afzalgunj while attempting to flee.

    The incident happened when the robbers, planning to board a bus to Raipur, got into an argument with the manager. During the altercation, they shot him in the leg and abdomen before fleeing in the direction of Osmania General Hospital.

    To apprehend the suspects, the police issued a red alert and began conducting checks across various parts of the city, focusing on the southeast, east, central, and southwest zones. Investigations revealed that the robbers entered Hyderabad on a motorcycle after the Bidar attack and arrived in the city early Thursday.

    According to police reports, the gang visited a travel office around 3 PM to purchase bus tickets. When the manager, Mohammed Jahangir, requested their identification, one of the robbers opened fire. Witnesses described the attackers as Hindi-speaking men between the ages of 30 and 35, carrying backpacks.

    The police are continuing their efforts to track down the suspects and ensure the safety of the city.
