Hyderabad police start foot patrols to build public trust

Hyderabad police officers carried out a foot patrol on Friday at Mallepally X Roads. This was part of ongoing efforts to boost public confidence and maintain control in light of the current tensions between India and Pakistan.

The patrol started from Meraz X Roads and continued to Mallepally X Roads. It was organized under the Asifnagar division and followed orders from Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand.

DCP Chandra Mohan led the operation. Police teams included SHOs, sub-inspectors from the Mehdipatnam and Asifnagar stations, along with personnel from the Armed Reserve.

During the patrol, officers spoke to local residents and shopkeepers. They promised stronger security and more police presence to ensure the area remains calm and safe.

The foot patrol served multiple goals—it aimed to build trust, prevent criminal activity, and promote a sense of security among the public.

This patrol followed a similar one conducted on Thursday in neighborhoods under the Mirchowk police station area.
