Hyderabad Police to Auction 1,212 Unclaimed Vehicles

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police is planning to auction 1,212 abandoned and unclaimed vehicles. These vehicles are of different types and have been collected at various police stations across the city.

The police stated that they are allowed to sell these vehicles through a public auction. This is according to Section 7 of the Hyderabad (Metropolitan Area) Police Act 2004, along with Section 40 of the Hyderabad City Police Act. If anyone claims ownership or has any legal interest in these vehicles, they can submit an application to the Commissioner of Police at ICCC, Banjara Hills. They have six months to make their claim. If no one claims the vehicles within that time, they will be auctioned.
