Hyderabad promotes bamboo toothbrushes

In Hyderabad, a notable project has emerged from a collaboration between Tempest Advertising and Mahavir Hospital. They are promoting a sustainable option for oral hygiene. On World Environment Day, the Dental Department at Masab Tank distributed bamboo toothbrushes to patients and visitors. These brushes came with educational leaflets to encourage people to make mindful choices each day, transforming their routine into a ‘Mindful Morning.’

The goal of this initiative is to show the harmful effects of plastic toothbrushes on the environment. Each year, millions of these plastic items end up in landfills and oceans. Bamboo toothbrushes offer a biodegradable and eco-friendly alternative, supporting both a healthier smile and a cleaner planet.
