The real estate sector in Hyderabad is experiencing rapid growth. The city is seeing new projects and large layouts appearing in various areas.
Sales of villas and high-rise buildings are increasing, recovering from nearly a year of slow activity.
This surge is fueled by key developments like the expansion to Triple R, plans for Future City, Metro Phase II, and new roads linking the Outer Ring Road to the Regional Ring Road.
Recently, the Housing Board received strong interest in its bidding process, indicating high demand for projects from Future City to Shadnagar. Significant projects are also emerging in newly incorporated villages.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is accelerating approvals for layouts and tall buildings in regions such as Ghatkesar, Shamshabad, Shankarpally, and Medchal.
In the first half of 2025, HMDA approved 922 projects, and this number is likely to double by year’s end.
HMDA Plots Ready for Auction
HMDA is set to auction plots online in various locations. Previous auctions in Kokapet, Budvel, and Mokila saw high demand. Plots in Turkayanjal, Thorrur, Bachupalli, Medipalli, and other locations have been sold. Upcoming auctions are expected in Bahadurpalli, Lemur, and additional sites.
