    The district tribal welfare and development officer, M Srinivas, announced that the selection process for scheduled tribes applying for admission into first grade (day schooler) in Begumpet and Ramantapur for the academic year 2024-2025 will take place on March 15. Eligible boys and girls born between June 1, 2017, and May 31, 2018, in scheduled tribes will be considered.

    Srinivas explained that the selection will be done through a lottery system for genuine boys and girls from scheduled tribes like Yerukala cast, among others. Applicants must submit their attested certificates by 5 pm on March 11 to the District Tribal Development Officer at room no. 118 in the office of the Integrated District Collector in MarriKunta Vanaparthy.

    For eligibility, the father’s income should be less than 150,000 in rural areas and 200,000 in urban areas. Certificates of caste and income should be obtained from the Tahsildars through Mee Seva centers. Applications will not be accepted after 5 pm on March 11.

    The selection process will take place on March 15, 2024, at 11 am through a lottery system at the Integrated District Collector’s office in Gadwal.
