Principal Suspended After Student Sustains Burns at School
In Yadadri Bhongir district, the principal of a Social Residential School, P. Venkatesham, was suspended on Thursday. The suspension came after an incident involving a serious injury to a student.
The District Collector, M. Hanumantha Rao, issued the suspension orders following a report from the District Educational Officer. The report detailed that an eighth-grade student, S. Samuel, suffered severe burns while helping kitchen staff prepare and serve ragi java on the school premises on Wednesday.
As per the Collector’s directive, Venkatesham has been instructed to remain available for further instructions until the matter is resolved.
