Hyderabad South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Engages with Peace Committee Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi

On August 30, 2024, Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, who is the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the South Zone in Hyderabad City, conducted a meeting with the Central Peace & Welfare Committee of the South Zone. The meeting took place at the Sanjray function hall and was aimed at ensuring the peaceful conduct of the upcoming Ganesh festival and Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations.

Several important officials were present at the event, including Sri Jahangir, the Additional DCP of South Zone, and ACPs Venkateswara Rao, P. Chandrasekhar, N.L.N. Raju, and Ch. Chandra Sekhar. Inspectors from the South Zone also attended, as well as Sri Srikishan Sharma, the All Zones General Secretary of the Central Peace & Welfare Committee, and Sri Hafiz Muzaffar Hussain, Patron of the South Zone. Around 100 members of the Peace Committee participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, DCP Sneha Mehra requested the cooperation of the Peace Committee members to help maintain peace in the South Zone during the upcoming festivals. The Peace Committee members assured her of their full support and commitment to ensuring the peaceful completion of the events.
