    The Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), a group of Commonwealth nations, is showing strong interest in the new projects started by the Telangana government. Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with CWEIC Chief Executive Rosie Glazebrook at the Secretariat to discuss potential investment opportunities and skill development.

    During the meeting, Rosie Glazebrook explained that the CWEIC aims to expand trade and investment across 56 Commonwealth countries. The Council is particularly focused on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, and skill development. She emphasized the Council’s commitment to promoting economic growth and collaboration among Commonwealth nations.

    Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shared details about Telangana’s recent projects, such as the Regional Ring Road (RRR), the development of the Future City, and the rejuvenation of the Musi River. The CWEIC expressed interest in becoming a strategic partner in these initiatives. Several senior officials attended the meeting, highlighting the importance of this potential collaboration for Telangana’s future growth and development.
