Hyderabad student passes away at London beach; remains to be brought back home on Friday

A student from Hyderabad studying in London died on Brighton Beach. Her name was K. Sai Tejaswini Reddy, and she was studying Aeronautics and Space Master’s Degree in Engineering at Cranfield University. She had been in London for six months.

Unfortunately, on April 11th, she drowned in the sea. The police conducted an investigation and informed her family back in Hyderabad. Her body was kept in a hospital in the UK.

Her family requested help from the state IT Minister KTR to bring her body back to India. He responded by saying his team would talk to the local British Deputy High Commissioner to assist in repatriating her body. Her sister also tweeted for help, and the minister responded, saying the family was facing official challenges.

Her body is expected to be repatriated to Hyderabad on Friday, and her last rites will be held on Saturday morning at Champapet crematorium.
