No loss of life or property has been reported in Hyderabad due to the continuous rain, according to Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav. The minister visited Hussain Sagar Lake on Saturday, which was filled to its maximum capacity due to the heavy rain. He inspected the discharge of water into the downstream and praised the GHMC Monsoon Emergency and DRF teams for their effective duties and precautionary measures.

In order to avoid inconvenience caused by the incessant rain, a total of 428 emergency teams are working around the clock in the GHMC limits. Additionally, control rooms have been set up at GHMC head office and EVDM Buddha Bhavan to address grievances 24/7. During the visit, the Minister was accompanied by Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose, and other officials.
