Hyderabad, May 2025 – What started as a small initiative in 2019 by three young men from Hyderabad—Mubassir, Saif, and Shakeeb—has grown into one of the city’s most trusted services during Eid ul-Adha. Their initiative, Easy Qurbani, is a non-commercial and affordable slaughtering service aimed at simplifying the process of Qurbani (sacrificial slaughter) for Muslims, especially for the elderly and urban residents.

Easy Qurbani ensures the sacrifice of sheep by qualified Islamic scholars, strictly adhering to Islamic principles and religious requirements. What sets the service apart is its emphasis on both religious integrity and logistical ease. Once the Qurbani is performed, the meat is hygienically cleaned, packed, and delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep.
In addition to doorstep delivery, Easy Qurbani also offers customers the option to donate a portion of the meat to orphans, widows, and the underprivileged—a gesture deeply rooted in the spirit of Eid and Islamic values of charity and community care.
The idea was inspired by the real challenges many families face during Eid, particularly elderly citizens or those living in apartments and urban areas, where arranging Qurbani can be difficult due to space constraints or lack of access to livestock markets and slaughtering facilities. The founders saw this as an opportunity to serve the community while upholding the religious essence of the festival.
Now in its sixth year, Easy Qurbani has become a symbol of faith, convenience, and compassion, earning the trust of countless families in Hyderabad. The initiative stands as a testament to how youth-driven, faith-based entrepreneurship can solve modern-day challenges while staying rooted in tradition.
For many Hyderabadis, Easy Qurbani is not just a service—it’s a blessing during the sacred days of Eid.
