Hyderabad: The Telangana Higher Education Council Chairperson, Prof V Balakrishna Reddy, expressed happiness over MGU‘s ability to embrace and overcome challenges, setting an example for other universities.
On Sunday, he released the initial set of question papers alongside Vice Chairperson Prof Itikala Purushotatam, Prof Mahmood, Secretary Prof Srararam Venkatesh, TG ICET Chairperson Prof Kazhagam Hussain, and Convenor Prof Alathavala Ravi.
Prof Reddy highlighted the joy of using modern technology to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. The computer-based entrance exam took place in three stages. It was conducted at 93 centers from 10 am to 12:30 pm and at 91 centers from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Among 24,330 candidates, 21,897 (90%) participated in the first phase. The second phase saw 22,136 (90.98%) out of the same number attending, according to Kanvan Acharya Alatavala Ravi. Candidates with disabilities were given the option to choose their preferred centers.
Prof Reddy visited several exam centers in Hyderabad to oversee the exam proceedings. He, along with SET Chair and Vice Chair, assessed the examination process at different locations. The Convenor monitored the exams from MGU’s Commandant and Central Centre across 93 centers. Damiyatala Ramesh, TCS Technical Experts, and other faculty members also attended.
