    Nagarkurnool: Satyanarayana IPS, the Inspector General (IG) of Multi-Zone 2, made a surprise visit to Veldanda Police Station. During his visit, he checked all the records at the station. He also collected information about crimes, road accidents, and thefts in the area.

    In his speech, the IG stressed the importance of stopping illegal activities. These include drug trade, smuggling of Public Distribution System (PDS) rice, illegal sand transportation, and gambling. He asked the police to work under the guidance of Nagar Kurnool Superintendent of Police (SP) to control these issues.

    The IG also told the police staff to be available to the public at all times and to stay alert. He praised the station for its good management and efficient functioning.

    Several officials attended the event, including Kalwakurthy DSP Venkateswarlu, Veldanda Circle Inspector Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Veldanda Sub-Inspector (SI) Kurumurthy, and other members of the police staff.
