In Rangareddy, the Jalpally municipality has become an all-woman urban local body. Women officials are leading the premier posts in Revenue, municipal, Town Planning, and engineering sections. The recent appointment of a woman mandal Revenue officer in Balapur mandal contributed to this achievement.

MRO K Madhavi Reddy has been given the task of supervising and protecting government lands in her area, despite a shortage of staff. Many of these lands are facing disputes.

N Vasantha is the municipal commissioner of the municipality, which has 28 wards and various issues such as roads, sewage, and healthcare facilities. Although Commissioner Vasantha is working hard to improve the relationship between the public and officials, there is still a long way to go for the municipality to become a healthy habitat.
