Professor D Ravinder, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, along with Professor N Lakshminarayana, Registrar, and alumni from North America, Dr Venkat Maroju and Dr Raydas Manthena, inaugurated the renovated Dr Aziz A Jamaluddin Computer Centre at Arts College on Wednesday.
According to university officials, the centre was established in 2008 with 45 computers donated by Dr Jamaluddin from the US. These computers have been beneficial to hundreds of scholars and students at Arts College. Recently, alumni members from North America donated 10 computers with internet facilities and assisted in refurbishing the centre.
Professor D Ravinder emphasized the importance of building systems and processes that utilize the contributions made by alumni with accountability. He also highlighted the efforts made by the CAB at Osmania University in this regard.
