Prominent figures from the opposition coalition, known as INDIA, recently gathered in Mumbai to discuss their strategy for challenging the ruling BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The two-day meeting focused on decision-making processes and seat-sharing discussions at the state level. Some leaders expressed concerns about the possibility of an early general election in April-May 2024. The gathering included representatives from 28 different parties, who discussed various crucial issues. A press conference was scheduled for the following day, along with plans to unveil the alliance’s logo. This was the third meeting of the joint opposition, following previous assemblies in Patna and Bengaluru.
