Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy criticized the previous government for neglecting land and housing issues, which caused problems across the State. He reminded the public that during the Assembly elections, the Congress party had promised to approve four to five lakh double-bedroom homes in the first phase, and this process is already underway. He added that beneficiaries are selected through gram sabhas, so there is no need for individuals to push their cases. The Minister also mentioned new regulations under the ROR (Record of Rights) Act are being introduced to fix land issues in a systematic way.
